  • beef (cubed)
    1 kg
  • beef stock
    1/2 c
  • chilli powder
    1 tsp
  • chopped tomatoes
    1 400g can
  • cumin
    1 tbsp
  • garam masala
    1/2 tsp
  • garlic (crushed)
    2 cloves
  • ghee
    2 tbsp
  • ginger (chopped)
    1 inch piece
  • ground black pepper
  • ground coriander
    1 tbsp
  • naan
  • natural yogurt
    4 tbsp
  • onion (chopped)

  • salt
  • turmeric
    1 tsp

    Put ghee into a wok or large frying pan and heat until shimmering.

    Add beef (cubed) and stir-fry until browned.

    Add onion (chopped) and ginger (chopped) and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

    Add garlic (crushed) , ground coriander , cumin , turmeric , chilli powder and garam masala .

    Stir-fry for 1 minute.

    Add chopped tomatoes and beef stock .

    Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and simmer for ⏱️ 15 minutes .

    Add natural yogurt and stir through.

    Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.

    Serve with warmed naan and extra yogurt.
